Inspired by the ancient Greek philosophy of virtue and excellence, the name aretḗ reflects my belief that meaningful training is essential for reaching one’s physical and mental potential.
When I look back at my early training plans, I recognise many mistakes. While I was always convinced I was doing the right thing at the time, I now value those realisations. I believe that making mistakes is a key part of learning – especially in sport. True strength lies in how we respond. My willingness to learn is reflected in my ability to analyse past decisions, draw insights from them, and make necessary changes.

Education & Qualifications
With a Bachelor of Science in Sport Science and a Master of Science in Sport Science Research (in progress) from the University of Bern, I have a solid academic background in sports science. This scientific foundation enables me to develop coaching approaches that are multidimensional and rooted in evidence. My knowledge from theory and research directly informs the development of effective and sustainable training and advisory concepts – for more strength, clarity and progress.
Values & Philosophy
While academic credentials are important, what truly defines my approach are the skills I developed throughout my studies: critical thinking, self-reflection, and sustainable knowledge-building.
In the fitness world – especially on social media – there’s no shortage of promises about the “only right way” to achieve success. My own journey taught me the opposite: there is no single path to progress. Instead, I draw from a wide range of personal and professional insights to shape each coaching plan individually.
I believe there are rarely universal rights or wrongs in sport. That’s why I design personalised, evidence-based and progressively evolving coaching strategies. I enjoy testing and evaluating different training methods, reflecting on both success and failure, and adapting my approach accordingly. This personal process is what defines my USP: my coaching is grounded in lived experience.
Why I founded aretḗ
Sport triggers a sense of purpose and enthusiasm in me that is hard to put into words. Instead, I aim to let actions speak – and inspire others with that same passion. My hope is that every client finds meaning in their training, so they can engage fully and strive to reach their individual potential.
What I expect – and what you can expect from me
Sport has always been part of my life – first as a player, now as a coach. What drives me? Supporting people in unlocking their potential – with structure, but also with heart.
My coaching is not only about performance – it’s about the person behind it. Trust, human connection and mutual respect form the foundation of every successful coaching relationship. When people feel seen and understood, real development becomes possible – both physically and personally.
I live by the motto: what goes around, comes around. That means I expect from my clients the same commitment and respect I bring to them.
